THE PEMBERLEY TEAM
Georgie began her event management career in the charity sector organising fundraising events for The Lions, The Prince’s Trust and Liverpool University.
She then moved to Euromoney Institutional Investor, where she delivered over 30 conferences and exhibitions globally, with some of the world’s top financial institutions.
As Head of Logistics Georgie also managed a series of high-end awards ceremonies, with speakers such as Stephen Fry and Boris Johnson MP. These events, linked via satellite, were hosted simultaneously across different time zones - lunch at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York and dinner at The Dorchester in London.
From Euromoney, Georgie took her extensive skill set to Lafferty Publications before more recently moving to Imperial College London. During her seven years at Imperial, Georgie organised educational conferences for healthcare professionals to raise significant funds for medical research into women’s reproductive health.
Out of the workplace Georgie has been involved in numerous local committees most notably the annual Barnes Charity Ball, which raised almost £200k during her tenure. Georgie would tell you that her three favourite things are her kids, champagne and shoes (though not necessarily in that order) and that she shares Roald Dahl’s opinion that kindness is the number one attribute a human being can have.

Coming from a PR and marketing background Karen brings an additional dimension to the Pemberley team. With over 12 years’ experience in this field, she has worked with numerous high-profile medical, neutraceutical and FMCG companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Zimmer Biomet, Sainsbury’s, Tate & Lyle, Britvic and Unilever.
Whilst at leading international agency Hill & Knowlton Strategies, Karen and her team delivered many highly successful, fully integrated PR campaigns. These projects involved meticulous planning, complex launches and imaginative consumer events to raise product profile and crucially drive sales. Within these campaigns, Karen worked with an extensive list of medical professionals, key opinion leaders, celebrities and sports professionals. She has produced extensive coverage across multimedia platforms, ranging from multi-page spreads in Hello magazine to in-depth interviews with the BBC.
Never phased by a challenge, Karen has organised an extremely diverse range of events including a gala at Gleneagles, a celebrity cookbook launch at The Ritz, sporting legend tennis matches at Bisham Abbey and Wimbledon and not forgetting the simultaneous launch of 16 nationwide pantomimes!
Formerly representing her county in three different sports, Karen’s energy is now channelled into chasing after her six-year-old twins, keeping fit and building the Pemberley business.
